I build and personally maintain every calculator and menu guide on this site. I’m not a registered dietitian or a certified nutritionist — I’m someone who’s spent years tracking my own calories, testing gym routines, and getting frustrated with restaurant nutrition PDFs, and eventually decided to just build the tools I wished existed.
Why This Site Exists
AgeAndCalorie.com started because I couldn’t find a fast, clean way to answer two kinds of questions I kept running into: “how old is this in a different system” (my cat’s age, someone’s lunar age, my dog’s age by breed) and “how many calories is this actually” once you customize an order at a chain restaurant. Most tools I found were either buried in ads or gave a single flat number that didn’t match what I’d actually ordered.
So I built the calculators myself, first for me, then cleaned them up enough to put online. The restaurant menu pages came later, once I realized the same problem: a static price list tells you nothing about what your specific order actually costs in calories.
My Background
Development
I build every calculator, menu page, and tool on this site myself, front to back. If something’s broken, that’s on me to fix, and I do.
Nutrition & Fitness
Self-taught. Years of personally tracking calories, macros, and workouts, reading nutrition labels, and testing restaurant orders against official data. Not a certified nutritionist or dietitian.
Data Sourcing
Prices and calories are sourced from official nutrition pages and apps where available, cross-checked periodically, and clearly marked when they’re still estimates.
How I Verify Data on This Site
Every menu page has a “Data Verification” panel near the top showing whether that page’s numbers have been checked yet. Here’s the actual process:
- 1. Pull baseline prices and calories from official restaurant nutrition pages or apps.
- 2. Cross-check against at least one independent source (in-store menu board, receipt, or delivery app listing) where possible.
- 3. Mark the page “Verified” with a date once checked, and “Pending Review” if it hasn’t been checked yet or is a new page.
- 4. Re-check periodically, since restaurant menus and prices change without notice, and update the date each time.
- 5. Fix corrections submitted by readers as soon as I can confirm them.

Found an Error?
If a price, calorie count, or menu item on this site is wrong or out of date, tell me and I’ll fix it. Corrections from readers are one of the main ways pages get marked “Verified.”
